BEIRUT, Feb. 21 (Sputnik) -- Lebanese Minister of Education and Higher Education, Abbas Harrabi, announced after a new earthquake in the border area between Syria and Turkey that all educational institutions in the country were suspended on the 21st.

Harabi also instructed all educational institutions to conduct inspections of the building.
On the night of February 20, two earthquakes of magnitude 6.4 and 5.8 struck Turkey's Hatay province, near the Syrian border. Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu said earlier that the accident killed three people and hospitalized 213 people.
